1. The vision of the Cooperative is to demonstrate leadership and advocacy for the postal sector in Asia Pacific to improve commercial outlook and relevance to the needs of the region.
2. The objectives of the APP Cooperative are:
2.1 To provide market analysis and interpretation for the Asia Pacific region including customer needs and market trends;
2.2 To support the Asia Pacific region to enhance the quality of postal services;
2.3 To work collaboratively with UPU, APPC and other stakeholder groups; and
2.4 To strengthen the Asia Pacific postal network.
3. Based on non-profit aims and principles, the APP Cooperative shall aim to share the costs incurred and investments made to meet the objectives outlined above among all its members, thus achieving economies of scale and allowing all its members to access and to use the resulting products and services.
4. The APP Cooperative entrusts its operational arm, Asia Pacific Post - the Office of the APP Cooperative located in Singapore, with the responsibility of carrying out the implementation of its objectives under the supervision of the Cooperative Management Board. Hereinafter, Asia Pacific Post will be referred to as the Office of the APP Cooperative.
